GAD Disorder

I am Generalized Anxiety Disorder classified as GAD. I worry excessively over things that might not even happen. I worry about all things pertaining to my life and do not have just one phobia. I have a difficulty relaxing and often am fatigued, irritable, and tense. I often cannot sleep and my muscles are tight. I cannot cope with stress. My fear and worry are uncontrollable and disrupt my every day life. I am a mentally and physically draining disorder.

  1. I would use psychodynamic therapy to treat GAD. By talking to the patient face-to-face, you would be able to talk to them about the different things that cause them to have anxiety. This also allows you to determine how these anxieties started and the best way to get rid of them.

  2. I would use psychodynamic therapy to treat this. Since she has so many phobias, it is hard to tell where it all started. with talking face to face with someone and not having much of a committment, she'll feel more comfortable to start talking. Then the more she talks it is possible to trace back to the origin of the anxiety and help with coping methods.
